We are looking for an energetic dishwasher for The Badley and The Wild Tart. The Badley Diner is a retro chic diner in the heart of beautiful Elora. The dining concept covers lunch and dinner. The Wild Tart is a European style patisserie open during the day.
We are looking for a full time dishwasher Wednesday to Sunday availability. Must have own transportation. Competitive wage and tips included.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Load, run and unload the dish machine.
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
- Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
- Keep dish room clean and organized.
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
- Polish all plates and cutlery and dispensing them back in the right outlet.
- Empty garbage bins in kitchens, bring them to designated areas.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Executive chef or immediate supervisor.
- Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators.
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
- Sweep Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
- Make sure all hand sinks are clean, paper towel installed and hand soap at all times.
