Starting rate of $25.00/hour during probation (720 hours), with tiered hourly increases based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement (E.g., $25.50/hr after probation to $26.75/hr after completing 2040 hours)

Shifts:

  • Guaranteed full time position with 40 hours a week.
  • We offer a variety of shifts that are selected through a job bid process based on the Collective Bargaining
  • Agreement (Employees are provided with a weekly schedule (posted on Fridays by Noon) until a fixed shift becomes available via the job bid process)

  • Operate warehouse machinery (Ride-along Walkie, Reach Truck and Counterbalance)
  • Warehouse functions include: Picking, Receiving, Loading, Replenishment, etc.
  • Perform physical job demands outlined in ergonomic training
  • Following quality standards outlined in Food Quality training program
  • Ensure proper rotation of date code requirements
  • Safety first approach for all tasks including reporting damaged machinery and equipment
  • Working in a temperature-controlled environment with company provided personal protective equipment and refrigerated gear
  • Monitor and report inventory losses
  • Handle goods that can weigh between 40 to 50 pounds
  • Paid training for all job tasks and requirements

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate a walkie or reach truck is an asset
  • Basic ability to communicate in English
  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset
