Eligibility Requirements:
To be eligible for the UTS Scape Accommodation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Citizenship/Visa Status: Applicants must be Australian or New Zealand citizens, holders of an Australian permanent resident visa, or possess a permanent humanitarian visa. Temporary asylum seekers or refugees with specific visa subclasses are also eligible ;
- Course Enrollment: Eligible candidates must be commencing a UTS undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree, the Jumbunna UNISTART program, or a UTS postgraduate research degree ;
- Financial Need : Applicants must demonstrate evidence of financial need and/or other educational barriers as assessed by the UAC Equity, regional or remote background, sole parent responsibilities, carer responsibilities, long-term medical condition/disability, ongoing effect of abuse, Indigenous Australian, refugee status, motivation to succeed in an eligible UTS course, and evidence that the scholarship would assist the student’s performance ;
