Responsibilities and Duties :
- Provide meal preparation, light-housekeeping, and provide companionship and personal care.
- Happier Aging is at the heart of what we do enabling seniors to live at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
- Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
- Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities and Daily Living) as outlined by the Care Designer.
- Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
- Meet the safety needs to the client and use equipment safely and properly.
- Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge while practicing safely and properly.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly using an online app
Requirements :
- Able to work multiple shifts of 2 – 8 hours per shift, in at least TWO OF THE
- FOLLOWING CITIES : COQUITLAM, PORT COQUITLAM, PITT MEADOWS, MAPLE RIDGE OR MISSION.
- 6 Months full time caregiving experience (or equivalent)
- Internationally Educated Nurses with personal care experience are also welcome to apply.
- Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
- Must be able to speak fluently and write in English.
Other languages will be an asset.
- Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search within the last 12
- months (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
- Double Covid-19 vaccination required.
- Negative TB test within the last 2 years (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
- Ability to efficiently travel to and from multiple client homes in one day.
Vehicle and class 5 driver’s license will be an asset.

- Current CPR / First Aid certificate
