Responsibilities and Duties :

• Provide meal preparation, light-housekeeping, and provide companionship and personal care.
• Happier Aging is at the heart of what we do enabling seniors to live at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities and Daily Living) as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
• Meet the safety needs to the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge while practicing safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly using an online app

Requirements :

• Able to work multiple shifts of 2 – 8 hours per shift, in at least TWO OF THE
• FOLLOWING CITIES : COQUITLAM, PORT COQUITLAM, PITT MEADOWS, MAPLE RIDGE OR MISSION.
• 6 Months full time caregiving experience (or equivalent)
• Internationally Educated Nurses with personal care experience are also welcome to apply.
• Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
• Must be able to speak fluently and write in English.

Other languages will be an asset.

• Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search within the last 12
• months (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
• Double Covid-19 vaccination required.
• Negative TB test within the last 2 years (updated every 5 years for continued employment)
• Ability to efficiently travel to and from multiple client homes in one day.

Vehicle and class 5 driver’s license will be an asset.

• Clean driver’s abstract
• 2 professional references
• Current CPR / First Aid certificate
