Job Description
We are a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground and we are looking for hard-working individuals to join our growing team.
Delivery Driver Responsibilities :
- Safe operation of a commercial vehicle in a wide variety of conditions.
- Completion of all assigned deliveries and managing pickups within a given time
- Use of hand held device to record all activity for the day.
- Maintain security of all packages and equipment assigned for the day.
- Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packages
- Organize and plan route using area map or route plan and navigation apps.
- Professional attitude and interact effectively with operation teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work at a fast pace be self motivated and work well on your own and as a team.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Full valid driver’s license
- Clean drivers abstract (no more than 1 violation within last 3 years)
- Clean criminal background check
- Preference will be given to the candidates with minimum of one (1) year commercial driving experience within the last (3) years ( cube van, straight truck, step van / truck )
Note : Shift timings and scheduled days of work may change from time to time based on business requirements; therefore, flexibility in your schedule is a required.
ONBOARDING & TRAINING :
All candidates are required to pass interviews, criminal history check, & have clean driver’s abstract no more than 1 traffic violation in the last 3 years in order to qualify for the role.
Training will be provided to those selected for the position Please be sure to include any relevant experience when applying for the position.
