As a Farm Supervisor (NOC : 82030 ), you will perform some or all of the following duties :

Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and equipment operators
Supervise a wide range of farm operations including planting, cultivating, irrigating, fertilizing, and harvesting.
Ensure deadlines are met for activities such as seeding and harvesting
Discuss with managers to coordinate activities
Make work schedules and establish procedures, train employees on worksite.
Suggests improvements and changes for farm operations.
Inspect farm buildings and equipment, ensuring routine maintenance is carried out and repairs are made when necessary
Ensure all health and farm safety procedures are being followed by the workers.
Maintain quality control and production records.
Perform general farm duties.

Qualifications :

High school education is preffered; a college certificate or other specialized training in agriculture will be an asset.
1 to 2 years of experience in a relevant field is required.
Terms of employment : Permanent, Full time (40 hours / week)

Compensation : CA $18 / hour to start
