What we are looking for
DeckMart is looking for a DZ Delivery Driver to join our North York team. As Delivery Driver you will be responsible for preparing and delivering orders, moving, collecting and managing stock as well as obtaining proper documentation.
What you will be doing
- Collecting and preparing stock from warehouse for customer orders.
- Loading and unloading trucks at customer location and/or warehouse.
- Obtaining the proper signed documentation when delivering product to customers.
- Engaging in daily warehouse activities: operating forklift, moving stock, selecting and palatalizing loads.
- Constantly learning and gaining knowledge on DeckMart products in order to accurately answer basic customer questions.
- Communicate and establish rapport with clientele to ensure quality customer service.
- Ensuring trucks are fully prepared, loaded and strapped.
- Matching quantities and items being shipped out against the customer’s invoice.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Ontario Class DZ License.
- Ontario Lift Truck certification.
- Experience driving a Moffett truck is preferable.
- Strong communication skills.
