We are hiring for Packaging Line Worker for our client in Palmerston. The client is a well-known company that manufactures PVC-based wall and ceiling panels that are easy-to-install and high-performance replacements for traditional drywall and fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) panels.
Job Description:
The Packager will be responsible for packaging and labeling products for shipment to customers. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a reliable vehicle, and a valid driver’s license. We will provide training for this position.
SHIFT
- Continental – Straight Days 7:00am – 7:00pm or Nights 7:00pm -7:00am
- Every other weekend is a long weekend
JOB DUTIES:
- Following health and safety standards.
- Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
- Assembling products and parts.
- Following production guidelines and specifications.
- Finalizing and packaging products for shipment.
- Operating and maintaining machinery and production line equipment.
- Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products.
- Working on the production line and meeting production targets.
- Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working in a factory is beneficial.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical dexterity.
- Available for shift work.
