Eligibility Criteria

  • Ph.D. and early career researchers (ECRs) working in the environmental arts and humanities who are enrolled at or have graduated from any non-UK university are encouraged to visit Scotland in 2024 to collaborate with an academic mentor and utilize the networks and resources of a host HEI (Higher Education Institute).
  • Each and every applicant must be enrolled in or have just completed a Ph.D. program in the arts and humanities. The AHRC elaborates in-depth on these subjects. Additionally, research projects must be connected to the humanities and arts.
  • Any interdisciplinary Ph.D. project must have at least 50% of its content in the arts and humanities. The program specifically encourages the submission of research projects using diverse techniques outside of the arts and humanities.
