Description:
The Garth Barnett Scholarship is offered in memory of Garth Barnett, a self-taught designer and mentor who helped students commencing their career in architecture and design.
This scholarship aims to provide financial support for students going into their second year of study who have demonstrated a passion and talent for design, specifically in Interior Architecture. Preference will be given to applicants who have experienced financial hardship and/or other educational barriers.

Eligibility:
Be commencing their second year of a Bachelor of Design in Interior Architecture (single or combined) at UTS in the Autumn session of the Scholarship selection.
Have a minimum weighted average mark (WAM) of 60 or above.
Completed a minimum of 36 credit points in one of the eligible degrees.
All candidates must apply using the UTS online Scholarships Application form to be eligible.
All candidates must be available to attend an interview (Zoom or Face to Face).
